Thought i'd post a little image on the front of my sketch book, its cute and quarky and it inspires me for my xtended book project..

ghostly portrait..

Whilst thinking about portraits thought id get back up to date and go through some recent work, here is my portrait, ghostly portrait of Sirkka sari who has now past, this is part of our recent ghost project which im really liking so far! This drawing is alike the last bold and comical, really need to get back in colour soon! haha.. also hoping i have captured sirkkas death rather well!

One of my favourites, so far.

Although its a simple portrait as one of my first posts was to post a favourite of mine here is my design for screen printing, I think its quite bold, comical and fun. I would like to carry on drawing in this kind of style :) Since starting illustration degree I have definitely realised it feels rather free to illustrate in your own chosen style and way. Previous to this degree I felt my drawing style felt quite structured that my course before felt favoured to realistic drawing styles now every things that bit more fun free and your own. Although in my BTEC before we studied various workshop illustration was always more preferred and my strongest of skills. I do love mix media however involving illustrating for instance, collage, print and stitching.
