–Make it here...at Plymouth College of Art will roll out locally

and nationally from the end of February 2013 through to the end of this year.

It will be the overarching theme for the Summer Show and will be carried

across print, online and radio advertising.

The MAKE YOUR MARK campaign aims to:

Present a sense of the ‘making’ culture and the specialist processes that go on in our

studios Connect emotionally and excite potential and existing students Communicate confidently and directly whilst intriguing the audience enough to find out more. 

the brief states how we make the poster is completley up to us and be as creative as you want, just to portray the making culture of the college. 

I have designed my poster like this as i feel it does show off the making culture and the recognisable building itself. also I have tried to stylically illustrate the poster.

Hoardings Brief competition, Here is my design. I have tried to achieve a contemporary design to appeal to people visually as this is the purpose of this competition. The concept of the hands are to welcome people to the college and also show how your hands are the tool of all tools to create. I have also added illustration to show style.. I have illustrated tools within the college used for creative practices.. which include the camera, paint brush, sewing needle and thread, scissors and paint.
